Key Responsibilities as a Senior PHP Developer
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of bespoke software applications, encompassing both greenfield and legacy systems.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust, and secure software.
- Produce clean, reusable, and well-documented code, adhering to established software development practices and design patterns.
- Regularly assess our systems, proposing solutions and architectural improvements to enhance our software and its overall architecture.
- Write unit tests and engage in peer reviews.
Core Experience and Skills
- In depth experience with Object Oriented programming.
- Experience with PHP, MySQL, and Linux
- Experience with at least one PHP framework, ideally Laravel/Lumen.
- In depth experience designing & building cloud based, SaaS applications.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Practical experience with JIRA & Confluence.
