FP&A Manager

FP&A Manager | Interim | £350 - £450 per day (Umbrella) | 6-months +

For an International Charity, we're recruiting an FP&A Manager for at least 6-months to deliver an FP&A function which provides accurate, value-add decision-support to enable effective decision making and planning. This role will act as the primary business partner across the organisation including supporting donor contract management. The role will coordinate budget and forecasting and building financial capacity of programme and operational staff.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver key FP&A functions, including monthly management accounts, the budget and reforecasting process
  • Review and implement improvements to key finance processes and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with staff across the world and the UK
  • Monthly management reporting and liaising with and challenging budget holders to understand variances against budget and prepare commentary
  • Business partner budget holders, responding to enquiries and supporting with technical finance advise for decision making
  • Preparing budgets for restricted funding grants submissions and fundraising bids
  • Support and challenge budget holders during annual budget preparation and quarterly updates to year-end forecast
  • Actively take part in budget and forecasting meetings with the Head of Finance, and COO

What you'll offer us:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with proven experience from the UK charity or international NGO sectors.
  • Strong experience of producing management accounts for month-end and year-end
  • Strong annual budgeting, planning and forecasting skills
  • Strong business partnering experience, and supporting non-finance staff with technical information for decision-making
  • Strong Excel, and ideally Xero experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
