Part Time Qualified Accountant, Kingston - Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to enjoy a varied role, whilst working Part Time hours. This is a hybrid role that offers a mix of office based and working from home, the hours / days are flexible.
Our client is a small and growing firm of Chartered Accountants who have a diverse range of clients which comprise primarily owner managed businesses in the local Surrey and London area.
Due to continued growth, they now have a new opportunity to join their team in Surrey close to the A3. You will have experience in Practice and, whilst ideally you will be an ACA or ACCA Qualified, we also welcome applications from experienced QBE Accountants or ACA / ACCA Part Qualified Accountants too.
Due to the continued client gains, this role could be tailored to your own skills / strengths, although is likely to offer plenty of variety and autonomy.
The core responsibilities will include:
- Statutory Accounts Preparation for typically owner managed businesses and Limited Companies.
- Producing quarterly management accounts
- Ensuring that Corporation Tax and Quarterly VAT Returns are filed promptly
- Some basic Bookkeeping and Payroll
- Assisting with Personal Tax Returns
- General business support to clients
You will already have at least three years of experience working for a firm of accountants and feel comfortable to prepare year-end accounts for companies and be happy to prepare management accounts, tax returns and do some book keeping.
You must enjoy working closely with SME companies and feel comfortable to join a small and strong team who have a flexible work approach and the firm will offer some home working/ hybrid working to be discussed at the interview stage with Fletcher George and in detail with the client at interview.

The salary guide of up to £30,000 to £45,000 pro rata has been set by Fletcher George as a guide. The role is commutable from Kingston, Epsom, Esher, Surbiton, Wimbledon, South West London and surrounds.
