Panel Beater - Sunderland
Salary: Basic £30,000 to £38,000, OTE £50,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Our client is seeking a fully trained Panel Beater to join their busy dealer in Sunderand. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.
Panel Beater Responsibilities:
- Undertake the Panel Repair / Replacement on Motor Vehicles
- To repair vehicles, including dismantling and reassembling
- To correctly interpret instructions from the job card/repair order, following all documented quality procedures and complying with repair instructions.
- To obtain any necessary technical information and attend training to keep abreast of the latest technical information.
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs
- Insure all work is completed within manufacturer and industry guidelines
- Work in an efficient manor to make sure the Bodyshop complies with customer satisfaction.
- To examine vehicles completely and report orally and/or in writing; on condition, safety, reliability and performance, reporting any potential repair difficulties immediately.
- To accurately report and record work done, and tests carried out, and to immediately report any further work required or vehicle faults, as laid down in documented procedures
The ideal Panel Beater:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater
- Competent MET skills to the standards required
- Work well under pressure and deal with high volumes of work
- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- ATA certification would be advantageous
You must be able to produce high quality work in a busy motor trade environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.?
