Commercial Development Executive
Location: Birmingham
Salary: DOE £40,000-£80,000 + Package and Bonus

We are working with an exciting and forward-thinking insurance broker in Birmingham who have an amazing company culture built on developing individuals and learning.
They are highly customer centric and have specialist markets and covers which position themselves as expertise in what they do.
An exciting role has become available in their Commercial team for an experienced Development Executive to join and help grow the division.
The Role:
Working closely with clients to you will cultivate relationships, looking to position your firm as the go-to insurance provider for your specialist sector in the Commercial/Corporate space.
This role is focused on the development of new business and bringing on new clients and relationships through visiting and prospecting new clients.
You will be expected to generate business within your respective niche area and continue to produce and develop business and be self-motivated however you will have unbelievable support in lead generation opportunities, from of Trade association and Affinity Distribution, as well as having broking support and claims handling services.
This is a sales and relationship role so any experience selling or developing new business will be essential and you will be expected to generate enough lead sources to achieve your income targets and will be appraised on your performance.
The Required Skills:
Proven sales experience selling and producing new business in Commercial Insurance
Ability to build and cultivate new relationships
A personable character who is able to overcome objectives and obstacles which may stop you from achieving your goals
Stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A positive self-starter attitude and someone who wants to make a big name for themselves in a fast growing and exciting organisation.
