Position: PPA and Intervention Teacher
Location: Camden. London
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time - 8:00am - 4:30pm
M3 Payscale - NO ECT Teachers for this position.
You will play a vital part in supporting students' SEMH needs, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to thrive both academically and personally. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PPA cover lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of education.
- Implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with classroom teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH challenges.
- Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their engagement, participation, and overall well-being.
- Finally, monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - NO ECT teachers for this position
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong experience and knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
- Strong behaviour management is required for this role, and where possible experience from EYFS- KS2.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
