You will work closely with the Solicitors, provide valued support where required in addition to managing your own caseload of the defence of litigated motor cases this will be a mixture of personal injury, credit hire and counter fraud files.
Typical responsibilities shall include:
- Adhering to court deadlines and managing files in accordance with court timetables
- Instructing experts
- Instructing and working with Counsel
- Carrying out detailed reviews of medical records
- Liaising with clients/other insurers/third parties
- Liaising with policyholders and witnesses
- Negotiating settlements
- Drafting pleadings/court documents
- Assisting other fee earners with their case loads
- Any other tasks as they arise to efficiently run your own caseload
This is a fee earning role and as such you shall be someone who is able to meet/exceed financial targets and be commercially aware.
