Part Time Finance Assistant

Have you got a good understanding of bookkeeping? Are you organised and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking an individual to support our client with finance administration, joining their dynamic team.

This opportunity is totally flexible on the hours so can work around existing commitments. Our client just asks you are office based 3 - 4 days a week!

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Type: Permanent, part time, 25 - 30 hours a week

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Location: Bagshot

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure purchase invoices and credit notes are processed in a timely manner
  • Compile and process credit card expenses
  • Generate sales invoices using Sage
  • Execute payment runs monthly
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Support with month-end journals
  • Reconcile petty cash
  • Handle customer and supplier queries
  • Manage stationary orders
  • Perform ad-hoc admin duties when required

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a role at a similar level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience with Sage 50 (desirable)
  • Organisation and communication skills
  • An eye for detail
