Our Client, Telford Council, is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join their Childrens Family Safeguarding and Family support Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Utilise motivational interviewing and a multi-agency approach under the Family Safeguarding model.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, Family Support Workers, Domestic Abuse Practitioners, Recovery Workers, Mental Health Practitioners, and Psychologists to address family issues efficiently.
- Support children and their families via Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, PLO pre-proceedings, and Care Proceedings.
- Build trusting relationships with children and families to support positive and effective engagement, preventing the escalation of needs.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 2 years' post qualified experience.
