We are looking for an astute Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management within our Energy and Natural Resources sector. Located in Oxford, the role includes the management and coordination of corporate accounting and regulatory and financial reporting.

Description
- Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and Board of Directors.
- Develop and manage financial systems/models and policies.
- Carry out business modelling and risk assessments.
- Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion.
- Manage budgeting processes and consolidation for all business units.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
- Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives and operational execution.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
- A professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Proven experience in finance management.
- Good communication skills with a strong ability to present financial data.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
