This rapidly growing firm based in Birmingham, now have a 12 month Fixed-Term contract for a Project Manager.

Your role as a Project Manager:

  • Working closely with the Project Director, you will focus on research projects, which could involve the assessment of new or amended IFRS for UK endorsement.
  • Assist with researching the existing materials, relevant literature, assessing stakeholder's views on the project.
  • You will prepare and participate in presentations and provide input for impact assessments.
  • The role will also require occasional travel to the London office for training days and general meetings, however full costs for travel and accommodation will be covered by the firm.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of the financial reporting environment of listed companies and a keen interest in IFRS.
  • Experience in a technical accounting work, standard setting or relevant academic research.
  • Ability to work both as a team and independently.
