My client, a distinguished specialty insurance and reinsurance company, are in search of a Senior Finance Business Analyst to join their London team. This role provides an engaging and demanding environment where accomplishments are recognised. The successful candidate will have London Markets, Finance Transformation and Business Analysis experience.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Finance Business Analyst position will bring a wealth of experience in accounting/auditing roles (preferably Lloyd's speciality business). You should have practical finance knowledge along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Your proficiency in MS systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI will be crucial in this role. Your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively will be key to meeting strict deadlines.

  • Certified Public Accountant Preferred
  • Good understanding of IFRS or UK GAAP auditing standards.
  • Practical finance and reporting systems knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research inquiries and emerging issues
  • Highly proficient in MS systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage priorities to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
