Warehouse and Forklift Operator Wanted!
Hourly Pay Rate: £11.44 / Paid Weekly.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday / 7am Start Time / 37.5-Hours Per Week.
Based just outside of central Southampton.
You will start as a temporary member of staff to see how you engage with the team, to assess your reliability, and ability to work in a cold store environment.
If that goes well then you will continue as a temporary to permanent worker for 12-weeks. At which point you will receive a final assessment and review and is all goes well you will become a permanent member of staff.
Key Duties:
- Working in a freezer / chiller storage environment -20 degrees temperature (you must be able to work in the cold).
- Picking and Packing produce by hand and with a counterbalance forklift.
- Manual work stacking boxes (not all with a forklift).
- Unloading and loading vans, lorries, trucks.
- Goods-in and goods-out.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance licence or training certificate (we will need a copy).
- Current / recent Counterbalance Forklift Driving experience.
- Eligible to work full-time in the UK.
- Able to work in a physical warehouse role and freezer environment.
