Junior Acoustic Consultant
My client is a leading acoustic consultancy with a focus on providing expert solutions for noise and vibration control. They excel in offering customised assessments and designs to meet the specific needs of their clients. With extensive experience, they have successfully worked on diverse projects, spanning across sectors such as rail, residential, healthcare, industrial facilities, and wind farms.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field, in addition to certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Valid UK driver's licence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across different departments to ensure on-time delivery and successful completion of project deadlines.
- Compiling technical data from assessments and preparing comprehensive technical reports for clients.
- Conducting surveys and assessments on noise and vibration using specialised modelling software.
- Ensuring that all assessments and remedial advice adhere to and exceed British standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication and building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
