We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at a specialist academy located on the coast of Norfolk.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Working closely with experienced teachers and support staff, you will help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups
  • Assist in the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Support students' emotional well-being and personal development
  • Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
