Cobalt have been instructed by an international property consultancy assist with the appointment of an Associate specialising in Capital Markets Research.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets Research, the successful individual will already be operating at the title of Senior Capital Markets Analyst or Researcher within another reputable property consultancy or real estate investment company.
Responsibilities:
- Providing capital markets, economics and occupier insight, commentary, thought leadership and flash updates for internal and external capital markets stakeholders.
- Direct client engagement, presenting capital markets analysis and commentary internally and externally.
- Line managing one Capital Markets Analyst.
- Responding to time-sensitive internal and external bespoke requests.
- Prioritising across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Managing the content for the internal capital markets portal.
- Spokesperson for UK Capital Markets research.
Person:
- Min. 4 years as a real estate researcher or analyst.
- Proactive, curious, and conscientious character, with a natural desire to engage with various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Confident in the ability to present to client and senior executives.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Familiarity with packages such as Macrobond, RCA, MSCI, Power BI, Alteryx, Data Science or languages such as Python useful, but not essential.
- Familiarity with the lending market useful, but not essential.
