Certain Advantage are delighted to be working with a medium sized construction Group based in Cheshire in the need of a Financial Controller, intially on a 3 month basis, probably longer. Reporting to the Group FD you will be focussed on the financial management of one of the Group businesses in terms of all elements of monthly management accounts, project profitability and WIP.
Duties will include :
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company.
- Supervise a small accounts team
- Handle all aspects of financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure the smooth operation of daily financial activities.
- Assist with finalizing budgets
The person:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
- Construction industry experience is key
- Experience as a Financial Controller or similar where you have been No. 1 within the finance function
- Able to commute to Cheshire 5 days per week
Reporting to a hugely experienced FD, you will be commercial, analytical, able to identify and execute process and control improvements as well as develop the team.
