Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs-led.

  • Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Services (Black Country)

  • Domestic and sexual abuse Children and Young person's service (Black Country)
  • West Midlands Stalking Service
  • Ask Marc (Male abuse referral centre)

This position is located within the Community Rape and Sexual Violence Support Service

The BCWA Rape and Sexual Violence Service is the largest specialist service provider in the Black Country, supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse. The service offers support to women, men and children who have experienced rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Our support is available whether the abuse was recent or years ago, and whether or not the client chooses to report what happened to the police. We provide a trauma-informed approach tailored to the needs of the client. The service covers the Black Country areas Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley & Wolverhampton

The team: Our specialist team combine expertise with a sound understanding of trauma, providing an exceptional service to our clients. As a service, we are focused on proactively engaging clients to provide them with the support they require through their journey.

Job Role

Job Title: Regional Sexual Violence Services Manager
Positions available: 1 full-time position, 37.5 hours (Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day, covering the Black Country
Salary: £31,697.19 - £34,345 (dependent on experience

We are looking for a highly skilled Rape and Sexual Violence Manager with excellent interpersonal skills, compassion and understanding of the impact of sexual abuse and exploitation.

We are looking for an innovative candidate who has experience of working with adults, who have experienced trauma and abuse, attention to detail, experience of leadership and focus on and commitment to exploring the experience of victims.

The Role:

The Rape and Sexual Violence Service Manager will support the Director of Community Services meet strategic and operational requirements across Sexual Violence Services and ensure maximum use of resources across all service areas/contracts to ensure quality of service provision.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the service in line with contract/ commissioned requirements and quality standards.
