We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Lecturer to join our Sixth Form college in North West London, which is recognised for its exceptional A Level, AS, GCSE, and BTEC Science courses. Our Sixth Form is among the top 10% of colleges nationally for A level progress. The successful candidate will teach A level, BTEC, and GCSE Physics.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in A level, BTEC, and GCSE Physics.
  • Engage and inspire young people aged 16-19 through innovative teaching practices.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress.
  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high educational standards.
  • Support students in their academic growth and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Physics or a closely related subject (e.g., Engineering).
  • Teaching experience up to A level in Physics, with a proven track record of excellent teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification if not already obtained (support provided by the College).
