We are seeking an IT Technical Support Consultant to join our globally distributed IT team. Based in Leeds, this role involves providing top-notch technical support to users across our global business. The ideal candidate will be a confident, customer-focused individual with a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide daily IT support to all staff, including call logging, troubleshooting, IT admin tasks such as new user setup, password resets, and PC builds.
  • Support the IT environment, including servers, systems, networks, and other devices.
  • Assist with various IT projects and upgrades to meet organisational goals.
  • Help with office moves and changes, including installation and changes to IT and Voice infrastructures and associated peripherals.
  • Monitor daily backups, manage the asset database, and control the software register.
  • Build positive working relationships within the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in IT support, both hands-on and remote.
  • Proficiency in user administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 365, and Outlook in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with LAN, WAN, and VPN troubleshooting and support.
  • Familiarity with supporting and troubleshooting Office 365 products (MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Anti-virus (MS Defender), Veritas BackupExec, etc.
  • Experience deploying images/software through Intune/SCCM.
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based call management systems, e.g., FreshService.
  • Basic understanding of managing hardware and software assets.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information in clear, non-technical language.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
