SALARY: £30,000 per annum + Bonuses + Benefits (see below)

Working as the Vehicle Service & Repair Workshop Controller you will be the key figure in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the workshop / garage.
As the Vehicle Service & Repair Workshop Controller your primary responsibilities will include coordinating daily activities, managing a team of skilled Vehicle Technicians, and maintaining high standards of customer service and organisation.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Vehicle Service & Repair Workshop Controller include:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
- Allocate work to Vehicle Technicians, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks
- Monitor the progress of repairs and services, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards
- Maintain excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure all workshop equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Manage stock levels and order parts and supplies as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including job cards and service documentation
- Liaise with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and any additional work required
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the workshop
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a similar role within a vehicle service and repair environment
- Excellent coordination, customer service, and organisational skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team of technicians
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the role
