Due to an increase in business and new clients coming on board a firm of Specialists in Disaster recovery and restoration who are part of a reputable Loss Adjusters are seeking to strengthen its team by appointing an experienced Desk Adjuster/Claims Handler where will be offered hybrid, remote or office based working depending on your individual circumstances.
Key responsibilities
- You will handle cases from first point of contact for new cases to conclusion and invoicing.
- You will communicate with customers and instructing clients over the telephone and in writing.
- You will allocate contractors and manage building repair, restoration and other suppliers, proactively guiding claims to settlement.
- Responding effectively to technical queries, issues and complaints.
About you:
- You will have a minimum 5 years experience in handling property insurance claims.
- You will have the ability to deal with insurers, policyholders, contractors and loss adjusters.
- Capable of working within a small team.
- Computer literate.
- Experience of handling complaints
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary up to £35,000 dependent on experience
