SEND Teaching Assistants

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Several special needs schools across Lewisham and surrounding boroughs are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of roles from flexible daily supply to short-term and long-term roles. The schools we are supporting cater for a range of needs including ASD, MLD, ADHD, PMLD and SEMH.
We can offer the following:
- Flexible work including daily supply, short-term bookings, and long-term roles
- From £85 - £100 per day dependent on experience
- Full-time or part-time roles available, dependent on your preference
- SEND Schools in Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth
- Primary or secondary SEND options
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, ideally Child and Adult, or be prepared to apply for a new check
- Proven child-related experience
- Knowledge of SEND and previous SEND experience
- Effective classroom management, curriculum knowledge, and good communication skills
- Adaptable and flexible personality
