Digital Marketing Consultant

Gleeson are delighted to be partnering with a market leading financial services business in Birmingham who are looking for a Digital Marketing Consultant to join their team.

This role will suit someone with a strong background within Paid Search (PPC) who has a keen eye for detail, who can confidently report of campaigns and manage budgets (you'd be looking after up to £500k per annum in this role).

This is a 12 month FTC to cover maternity and you will be support their lead generation and sales efforts. You will have hands-on experience of running Paid Search (PPC), Display, Email and wider digital campaign activity.

"What will I be doing?"

  • Implementing digital marketing campaigns as an in-house specialist. (Hands-on PPC experience is a must).
  • Launching, monitoring, maintaining, tweaking and improving PPC / Display / Remarketing advertising.
  • Supporting the wider business with email marketing activation.
  • Representing the Digital Marketing Team in key meetings with stakeholders and departments.
  • Providing analytical reporting of campaigns to stakeholders.

"What is your client looking for?"

  • Strong digital marketing background with experience of and executing a wide range of digital marketing activity (Paid Search / PPC, Display, Email, Remarketing).
  • In-depth Paid Search knowledge and hands-on experience of working with PPC campaigns daily. (Knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads).
  • Experience of delivering high quality email marketing campaigns to customers and prospects.
  • Track record of achieving digital sales and lead generation targets.
  • Experience of optimising online sales journeys to maximise conversion and sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to engage and influence across all levels (including those who are not as digitally-savvy).

The interview process will be two stages. The client are looking for someone to be based out of their offices once per week as a minimum.

They are paying up to £48,000 per annum, with 28 days annual leave (plus 8 days bank holiday) and free on-site parking.
