Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a global, market leading company who are looking for a Technical Product Engineer.
This role is a fully remote position covering the UK.
The company are an innovative leader in their field. They design and manufacture a wide variety of products used within the Power Distribution sector.
This is a key hire and an excellent opportunity to work for a highly profitable business to help shape and drive the next stage of their product development and growth.
As Technical Product Engineer you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products and creating strategies for the development of technical products to drive business growth.
The role would ideally suit someone with a good strong technical engineering background who is interested in a commercially focussed role to provide technical input and strategic direction to sales teams and the wider business.
The Technical Product Engineer will be responsible for:
- Managing a full product lifecycle to ensure technical specifications meet the required industry standards
- Leading on product development by identifying market opportunities to stay ahead of the competition
- Developing strategies to develop and launch products in new markets
- Working closely with sales and marketing teams as they work to present products to market
- Providing technical advice and training to sales teams and providing specific support when required
The Technical Product Engineer will need:
- A strong technical engineering background and a relevant qualification in electrical engineering
- Experience of the power distribution sector
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to spot opportunities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous demonstrable experience of delivering results, in any type of role
- A collaborative, team focused approach with the ability to be strategic
