Marketing Assistant

I am looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to join a substantial marketing team within a Professional services company in Ramsgate! The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating event bookings, managing marketing materials, and supporting the digital marketing efforts. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for marketing.

Day to day of the Marketing Assistant role:

  • Coordinate and respond to event bookings, including attendee list coordination.
  • Prepare marketing materials and organise transportation to and from venues.
  • Create event presentations and handle event follow-up administration and collation.
  • Maintain the marketing literature library, ensuring materials are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Produce marketing documents using templates and work with authors to keep website and intranet content current.
  • Coordinate business cards, letterheads, compliment slips, and other stationery, reviewing ordering systems and processes.
  • Engage in copywriting for marketing materials and articles, as well as proofreading content.
  • Act as the central contact for merchandise and marketing stock, managing inventory and sourcing new items.
  • Organise staff photoshoots and manage photo, stock image, and graphics libraries.
  • Assist with external photoshoots and collaborate with the digital marketing team to update website photos.
  • Provide support for website and social media content, including proofreading, editing, and content addition.
  • Create adverts, invitations, and online listings in line with brand guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications required for the Marketing Assistant Role:

  • Experience in marketing coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using marketing templates and producing marketing documents.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading abilities.
  • Experience with merchandise and stock management.
  • Familiarity with photography coordination and managing digital assets.
  • Competence in website content management and social media support.
  • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines when creating marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management systems.
