Working hours: Monday to Wednesday 9:00am to 5pm with an hour for lunch (21 hours per week)
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a retail environment. You'll be passionate about customer service, have strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Being dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
- Deal with customer needs and resolve any issues
- Price stock correctly and merchandise in line with Company procedure
- Make customers aware of product promotions and offers
- Assist with unloading of deliveries and storage of stock
- Operate till, accept payment by cash, credit and debit card, cashing up
- Product Knowledge-Providing detailed information about our products to customers
- Replenishing Stock
- Keep up to date with the latest products
- Keeping displays to the highest standard
- Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well stocked
- Make sure our shelves are well-stocked at all times
- Unpack daily stock deliveries
- Compacting sorted materials eg. Cardboard and metal
- Keep the store clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently
