Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to produce high-quality dishes consistently.
  • Plan and design menus in collaboration with the management team, focusing on local and seasonal produce for an international menu.
  • Manage food purchasing and storage to maintain standards and control stocks.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance skills and promote teamwork.
  • Manage kitchen budgets and maintain financial and administrative records.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Chef or Kitchen Manager, preferably in a dynamic service environment.
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Culinary arts training or certification is desirable but not necessary.
