Business Services Manager

Reed are pleased to be recruiting for a highly ranked accountancy firm, based in the City of London. We are looking for an experienced Manager to join the growing Business Services team. This hybrid role involves working in the office, and home working. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio serviced by their own team and work closely with a partner, requiring excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Ensure the delivery of compliance services and manage ad-hoc projects as they arise.
- Review team members' work and assist in their training and development.
- Prepare proposals for potential clients and contribute to the growth of the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualification with managerial experience.
- Proven experience in delivering accounts and managing compliance requirements.
- Competency in managing a team of accountants and demonstrating commercial awareness.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Sage, Quickbooks, and some knowledge of Xero software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
