TA Role in local Primary School
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in education? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join in Indian Queens. A positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn are a must! This role offers 18.5 hours per week on a part time basis covering general support duties. The school prides itself in placing a high priority on the welfare, social development and happiness of the children regardless of age, ability or background.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Help with classroom management and behavior strategies
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
