Speech and Language Therapist
If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Band 6 and Language Therapist to provide management to patients under the supervision of the Lead Speech and Language Therapist.
What you will be doing:
- To provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy management to patients under the supervision of the Lead Speech and Language Therapist .
- To assess, diagnose and manage adult clients with voice disorders using sound theoretical knowledge to inform advice, support and therapy.
- To work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) within the Voice clinic in the management of these patients in an outpatient setting
Salary: £27/h (Day shifts)
What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist :
- Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
- Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
- HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
- 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
- Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
- The right to work in the UK
