This exciting role for a Property Surveyor involves providing professional surveying and technical support contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of the Asset Management strategy for a Social Housing provider.

The position requires a driven individual with vast knowledge and experience in property surveying, capable of delivering optimal results in a fast-paced environment. This role does not manage a team.

Description

  • Provide effective capital investment, cyclical, statutory maintenance services, on time and to budget, in line with legislation, policy, capital programme and strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong financial expertise and control.
  • Conduct detailed property surveys and prepare accurate reports.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the department.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to the team and stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Property Surveyor should have:

  • Ideally at least 5 years in a Surveying role previously within the Social Housing environment.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in surveying, property management, or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of property surveying.
  • Proficient in CAD design work.
  • Robust understanding of current health and safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
