Nustaff Recruitment have been instructed a world leading aerospace business who seek a machine shop inspector to join their dedicated team in Gloucester.
The role
- First Off, CMM Inspection, and Final View Inspection of internal parts.
- Inspect and deliver quality products to both internal and external customers, with a full understanding of AS9102 FAI requirement's. ASMEY14.5 2009 and ISO1011 2004 standards.
Ideal Candidates
- Ideally you will have a Modern Advanced Apprenticeship - Level 3; however we will also consider applications form those with a level 2 or 3 equivalent qualifications or significant experience
- If you do not have a level 3 qualification, we will support you to complete an NVQ Level 3 once you start!
- You must have previous experience of operating in a manufacturing environment.
- CMM Inspection experience
- Qualified or experienced Inspector, training will be given to suitable applicants.
- Capable of demonstrating Understanding and evaluating output data from CMM machines.
- Camio Studio, Modus, and Virtual Dmis softwares (experience both programming and operation would be advantageous)
- Full understanding of AS9102 FAI requirement's. ASMEY14.5 2009 and ISO1011 2004 standards
- Proven experience of the manufacture of Aircraft Landing Gear original equipment and associated products.
Salary and Hours
- £33,483 - £35,787 plus 38.50% shift allowance for nights
- 4 week rotating shift pattern between days and nights
- Days: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12:30pm
- Nights: Monday - Wednesday 9:45pm - 7:30am, Thursday 9:45pm - 6:50am
- There may also be availability to work afternoons and weekends which will attract shift allowances of 40% and 59% respectively.
