A professional and busy Environmental Consultancy who have a consistently growing Water Hygiene / Legionella department are now looking to take on Water Hygiene Engineer in the West Midlands region. The successful candidate will be able to confidently carry out L8 compliance services in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience in carrying out remedial plumbing duties and holding an industry relevant qualification would be beneficial to the role but not essential. Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
" Organising workload efficiently, ensuring to create time to complete reports.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing would be beneficial but not essential.
" Good IT skills.
" Traveling in line with company / client needs.
Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out various L8 compliance duties, including:
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Showerhead descales.
" CWST cleans and descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Carrying out remedial work in line with client requirements e.g., deadleg removals, removal, replacement, and rerouting of pipe work, and carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring to rectify issues. (if correct qualification is held)
