Description
As the Head of Planning & Logistics you will,
- Oversee all planning and logistics operations supporting a multisite footprint in the Lancashire area
- Review current practices across all business units, and implement effective strategies to increase performance, with the support of other key functions
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, building engagement, capability, and succession planning where needed
- Collaborate and support other functions to ensure operational alignment, and buy in
- Develop key performance indicators to share across the organisation to demonstrate value delivery and improve accountability
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, sharing operation and strategic vision
Profile
A successful Head of Planning & Logistics should have:
- Proven in a leadership role within a complex, manufacturing based operation across a large headcount
- Excellent knowledge of planning (supply / production / demand) and logistics, with the ability to restructure / implement new processes / systems across multisite environments
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, contributing to a senior leadership team
