Job Purpose:
This tier 1 bank is looking for someone to join the UK Client Assets & Depositor Protection Team for 12 months, to ensure compliance with regulations. Engage with business partners, manage deliverables, and develop processes, documentation, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee asset compliance across businesses.
- Liaise with stakeholders as the central contact for governance.
- Ensure technology/process solutions meet standards.
- Support the enhancement of governance frameworks.
- Prepare materials for governance meetings and challenge adherence to regulations.
- Share technical knowledge and critique deliverables.
- Advise on regulatory changes and business implementation.
- Contribute to office projects and strategic objectives.
Knowledge/Experience:
- SME experience in client asset/depositor protection regulations.
- Financial services/banking experience.
- Experience in regulatory change and implementation.
- Degree level education preferred.
- Relevant professional qualification ideal.
- Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management and teamwork.
- Highly organised, task-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
