Role Overview:
Our well-established client within the food industry are looking for a temporary fit and healthy van driver to join their ambitious growing team due to an increase in workflow.
You will be delivering a range of foods to various locations and shops across the country. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, reputable organisation, with the potential of outstanding candidates being offered further employment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload all deliveries so must be fit and able.
- Follow pre scheduled delivery route in a safe and timely manner.
- Daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Ensuring temperature checks are carried out before leaving site.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Valid UK license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
- Physically fit.
- Flexible and reliable with a good attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
