The role of Finance Manager will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for a team of 4 direct reports.
This role will suit someone who is qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong reporting experience. I will also consider if you are making your first move from Audit/Practice with accounts prep experience.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Lead the budgeting process, including preparation of detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Analyse and manage costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost control, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and manage a finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
