You'll work as a Java Developer building a trading platform that's providing world class insights and analytics and booking all trades for the firm.
This software is giving their traders an edge on the market making them one of the top funds in the world.
You'll join at a time where the fund are diversifying into new markets. You'll play a crucial part in all aspects of the developement of new features and maintainance of their existing capabilities, with lots of new data coming into the platform and large volumes of trades to be processed.
You'll work extremely closely with Portfolio Managers / Quants - You'll work with them to understand exactly what they need from the data and work fully end to end to create solutions that present data in a way that can be consumed effectively by them.
Their tech stack includes the following + more:
- Java 17
- Kafka
- NoSQL / SQL Databases
- Nomad / Consul /Honeycomb / Grafana
- Hybrid On-Prem and AWS deployments.
- React / TypeScript
You'll work on a hybrid basis, with their office based in the centre of Glasgow City.
Compensation will include a basic salary of £50,000 - £80,000 + an extremely strong bonus scheme.
