The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Year 5 Teacher to cover maternity leave from September to April. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, inspiring and educating young minds during a crucial stage of their development. The role is open to a full-time candidate or a potential job share, offering flexibility for the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of Year 5 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Plan and implement a balanced curriculum in line with the school's standards and policies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being and academic progress of students.
- Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably as a Year 5 Teacher.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
