Key Responsibilities.
Receive, handle, and process goods-in, including import documentation
Process orders for despatch (Goods Out), including export documentation
Liaise with couriers and resolve delivery issues
Stay up to date with dangerous goods regulations and guidelines
Ensure all dangerous goods are shipped in accordance with IATA and ADR regulations
Manage stock control and stock movements between warehouses using Sage
Conduct bi-annual stock-takes
Communicate with suppliers regarding product quality and pricing
Raise purchase orders for building and office supplies
Raise purchase orders for packaging supplies for Goods Out
Support the Facilities Manager with building maintenance planning and safety compliance
Assist with vendor and contract management for cleaning, security, and repair services
Deal with and respond to emails
Compile work orders
Handle HMRC import/export processes when required
Arrange Inward Processing Relief (IPR) for repairs received from outside the UK
Ensure compliance with Group Export Control Policy and procedures
Maintain up-to-date records for utilities
Perform general administrative duties
Carry out any other tasks as required by the Manager and Company
Key Skills & Knowledge
Working knowledge of inventory management, order fulfilment, and transportation logistics
Basic knowledge of building and planning maintenance (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing)
Working knowledge of import and export for domestic and international markets, including customs
Experience with SAGE X3 or similar ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams
Familiar with courier web services (UPS WorldShip, MyDPD, FedEx Ship Manager)
Working knowledge of barcoding for goods in/out
Good understanding of stock control
Basic knowledge of export control
Strong administrative and organisational skills
High attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
