Duration: Initial 6 month contract

Location: Bristol

Rate: £22.75 ph, Umb, inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS only

About the Client:

The client is a leading global supplier of integrated marine control systems and simulation products for warships, submarines and high-end ocean-going commercial vessels worldwide. They fall into the Defence Maritime sector.

The Main Purpose of the Job:

To work on all aspects of the project to retire the Exordia system and move all work over to SAGE.

This will cover Purchase order analysis, amendment and creation, supplier spend analysis and regular reporting on progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of all open PO balances: Exordia vs SAGE vs SCR.
  • Update SAGE to reflect agreed current balance.
  • Update SCRs with all relevant new/amended data.
  • Produce weekly report on reconciliation progress.
  • Assist with data cleanse/update project for Supplier database on SAGE and the SharePoint ASL.
  • Ensure all invoices are fully reconciled with SAGE and SCR balances
  • Support the generation, maintenance and improvement of new resulting functional procedures and processes.

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Ability to work on own initiative and with some supervision.
  • Prioritise own workload and organise own time to achieve objectives.
  • Proactive style and flexible attitude to scope of role.
  • Good data entry spreadsheet and Word skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst paying attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute as an effective team member.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of business both internally and externally.
  • High standard of technical skills including MS Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
