Accounts Assistant - Reading - 3 days from home - £30.000 - £32.000 - Temp to perm
I am currently recruiting for a leading business based in Central Reading who require an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis.
Key skills:
- Ensure Billing rules are up to date in
- Maintain strict month end close re timesheet submission Lead re any issues with the T&R process / system in a timely fashion
- Ensure all billing templates have been approved by WD5
- Process and issue invoices
- business on day to day issues around information required to complete month end billing
- Provide system support re T&R system to client teams
- Assist Billing Team Lead to ensure other Finance team members are kept up to date with billing process changes / billing rules and are trained to provide cover if necessary
- Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
- Ensuring the team adhere to credit and collection procedures
- Responding to client queries and/or passing queries to client teams
- Reconciling customer accounts and monitoring debtor account balances
- Work with FC to ensure cash inflow maintained and any potential bad debts are highlighted and recorded
- Work with Management Accountants to ensure that daily bank recs are completed and unreconciled items relating to billing are investigated in a timely manner
What you will need to be successful:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Team player
