Are you an Engineer looking to work with a company who have an excellent reputation for bespoke designs in the metrology market, working in a diverse and challenging role that offers exposure to lots of varied projects, working with a multitude of companies of different company sizes and industries, plus a collaborative, tight-knit working environment?
Are you passionate about delivering projects, designing, testing, and building bespoke components and specialist machinery to the aerospace, pharmaceutical and automotive industry?
On offer is the opportunity to work within a small specialist team for a global firm. Where every project will be different and will stretch your knowledge and your creativeness to think outside the norm. You will be the go-to engineer, working with the Controls Manager and alongside software and electrical Engineers and Technicians daily, managing projects from initial concept through to testing and delivery.
THE ROLE:
- The invention of novel ideas (concepts) to meet customer requirements
- Critical appraisal of yours and others designs within the design team to ensure robustness of design
- Support of technicians in the assembly and testing of your designs
- 3D and 2D modelling
- Designing concepts for manufacture
- Draughting of manufacturing drawings
THE PERSON:
- You'll hold an HND/Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with using 3D CAD packages
