You will have been in a role where you've overseen NPD projects and have achieved deadlines. We need someone who can strategise and create the plans, not just run with an existing plan. You will be proactive and take action to reduce possible risks to projects before they happen.
But where do the ideas come from? Like any business, there lots of avenues, but the main driver will be customers. You'll be able to go on a few trips a year to meet with customers and understand what's needed in their labs, getting ideas for new NPD projects.
Here's what you need:
- Experience of successfully delivering NPD projects, this can be in any technical engineering sector.
- Expertise in planning, controlling, and delivering NPD projects.
- Experience of leading a multidiscipline engineering design team.
- A proven track record of successfully working in a similar role.
