Role Overview: As a Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in promoting physical activity, well-being, and positive behaviour among our students. You'll work closely with our teaching staff to create engaging sports sessions that cater to individual abilities and interests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver sports activities tailored to students with SEN.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere during sports sessions.
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education into the curriculum.
- Empower students to develop confidence, teamwork, and motor skills through sports.
- Adapt coaching techniques to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant sports coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 1 or higher).
- Experience working with children or young adults with SEN (preferred).
- Passion for promoting physical health and well-being.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
