Accounting Lecturer

  • Hourly Rate: £25-35 p/h

  • Job Type: Part-time (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Accounting Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning on Accounting (AAT) Level 4. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of aspiring accountants by providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging learning programmes for groups of students in Accounting (AAT) Level 4.
  • Guide students through the learning process, ensuring a clear understanding of course material and expectations.
  • Undertake assessment of students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of accounting and adapt teaching materials accordingly.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Teaching qualification at Level 5 or be willing to work towards one.
  • Qualified to at least Level 4 in Accounting or a relevant specialist subject area, such as a CCAB qualification (CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS, CAI, or ACCA).
  • Experience with the relevant curriculum and previous FE teaching experience.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification.
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent or higher.
