Are you a Science Teacher passionate about working with pupils attending a Pupil Referral Unit?
Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking an excellent Science Teacher to fulfil a long term, temporary role starting in September 2024 on an ongoing basis, based in Gosport.
The school is made up of two campuses that support pupils who are non-attending in mainstream schooling, supporting them with their transition back into education. The staff support pupils with their teaching methods to encourage effective learning, as well as helping pupils overcome any barriers throughout their educational journey back into a mainstream setting.
As the Science Teacher, you will be responsible for the teaching and learning of the pupils within your assigned classes, ensuring that all content of the curriculum is taught effectively. You will provide enthusiastic and engaging teaching methods and allow pupils to achieve good attainment to the best of their abilities.
For this role, you will be/have:
- Qualified Teacher Status with degree in subject matter
- Good content knowledge with a passion for teaching pupils
- Able to attend 5 days per week on a long term basis
- Keen to work with pupils needing a little extra support to progress
The salary for this role is currently set between £130 to £190 per day
