Our client is a small to medium enterprise based in East London. They're going through a period of growth and change at the moment so they're looking to bring new people on-board who are willing to work hard and work well in a team / take their own initiative.

Description

  • Manage and maintain the company's credit control processes.
  • Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and delayed payments.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues.
  • Assess and review credit applications.
  • Prepare financial statements related to credit and collections.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to credit control.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in credit control within the retail sector.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
