Credit Control Manager

Our client are recruiting for an experienced and dynamic professional to efficiently and effectively manage the Credit Control team, overseeing the collection of debt in a controlled, accurate and timely manager. This opportunity is open to candidates with managerial experience and from a range of industry backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the Credit Control team effectively and efficiently ensuring proactive management of Performance Review process and ensuring that the whole team are following published procedures and best practice.
  • To oversee the process of accurately recording and maintaining debtor balances, the collection of the debts and the timely identification of any potential bad debts along with suggested strategies for collection or avoidance of loss.
  • The establishment and maintenance of good working relationships with brokers and members to ensure the timely collection of debt.
  • To oversee the process of accurately recording and maintaining the corresponding commission balances and the timely payment of commission.
  • In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer establish and report on the creditworthiness of members and third parties to ensure that the Club's balance sheet is not exposed to undue risk.
  • The production of accurate regular and ad hoc reports for the Management Board and Ship Owners' Board with commentaries as necessary.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
